[Week 2, Wednesday: Noctis]
[there's no bonding like kitten bonding!1]
[Wednesday doesn't see any differences in Akira's daily routine. he still heads to the pet shop first thing after breakfast, still spends several hours there dangling strings and toy mice in front of overeager kittens, letting out quiet, huffed laughs every time they pounce and land on their round faces]
[it's a little cathartic, and a little wistful, all in one. one of the kittens is black with white paws, eyes a bright and glassy blue, and that tugs at Akira's heart in ways he isn't quite ready to say aloud]
[but, hey. as long as he doesn't talk about those feelings, he's only here playing with cats, right?]
[maybe someone should join him!!]
