[Akira doesn't waste any time. as soon as the executions are over, and as soon as they're all released to finish off their days, he curls his fingers around the sleeve of Yusuke's shirt and tugs lightly]

[Yusuke had been intending to find somewhere quiet to collect his thoughts, after all they'd witnessed in the church -- and partly to avoid being antagonised any further by a certain Ann lookalike -- so when he feels a hand tug at his sleeve, he freezes in surprise.

He soon relaxes when he realises it's just Akira, though the question only registers a look of confusion.]

Golf...? Is that really appropriate?

But it's a secluded place to talk, and nobody's heading in that direction.

[no. there's no "I'm okay" for Yusuke. out of anyone here, he and Makoto deserve the truth]

This weekend was a lot.

[Yusuke wants to say something helpful, something supportive, but he's just as shaken as Akira is. His brow furrows and he crosses his arms.]

If the first Reaper was someone has monstrous as Dahlia Hawthorne, I shudder to think what else we might be up against. Those poor girls...

[meanwhile? Akira's fingers curl into the sleeves of his shirt, grip tight, almost shaking. a telltale sign of that constantly buzzing anger he's learned to control so damn well. but something like this? this is more than enough to tap into those supplies, to let a few drops seep out into the open air]

Maya, Himemiya-san, and Utena. . . none of them deserved what happened to them.

[sssssaying that firmly]

If the remaining reapers are just like Hawthorne, then I can't-- [hrrrgh. here, he tilts his head back to stare at the ceiling]

I can't imagine any of them would be willing to talk with us like I had hoped for.

[Dahlia sure didn't look like the paragon of helpfulness. that, combined with what Max said about how reapers are "usually sadists," is starting to make him rethink his approach]

Yes. And given how tight-lipped our host is, it would not be surprising if the Reapers are likewise not forthcoming...

What do you think to Enoshima? If anyone seems the most likely to be a Reaper, she would be the most obvious choice.

[But then... How do they distinguish Reapers from Players who are just terrible people? Surely the latter exist, too.]

I thought her brand of weird was harmless, until the execution. Now I'm not so sure.

If it's sadists we're looking for, she's the most obvious choice. But. . .

[at what point does "obvious" become "too obvious it can't be true?"]

I checked her profile, and there's nothing quite as incriminating as with Hawthorne's. Her cause of death, however... was an execution.

[Which suggests she was either punished for something, or a victim. Again, it raises more questions than it answers.]

It's worth it to keep an eye on her.

[he'd even suggest talking to her in private to see if she'd slip up, but if she is a reaper, he sure as heck won't encourage Yusuke to put himself in danger]
