[Week 4, Saturday: Miki]

[naturally, Akira only comes to visit once everyone has cleared out of the McDonald's. he's carrying Akira the chickenpig, tucked gently in his arms, because he imagines Miki would like to spend her last night on this side of things with the animal she paid one (1) pinkie finger to get]

On a scale of one to ten, how comfortable is the ball pit, anyway?

It was a fun insanity though. Innocent and kind, without much repercussion for screwing up. So many things you could get away with.

[ she stands up and carefully waddles through the shallow pit to sit on the edge right across from chickenpig. it still has no real sense of how she's about to go away. ]

Kind of like this chickenpig. Just blissfully unaware of everything going on. How nice is that?

[Akira huffs a laugh. it isn't mocking. if anything, it's. . . almost a bit wistful?]

At a time like this, it would be awfully nice to be unaware of everything that's happening.

[ignorance is bliss. isn't that what they say? but he shakes his head]
