Because it was the first I've heard of it, from either of you. And I've known you both all Game. [a beat] Kaiba's a good guy, though.

[not that Yusuke needs his approval, but. Akira approves???]

That's because he only confessed his feelings for me a few days ago. I was surprised, but very happy.

[He smiles brightly, still blushing a bit. Akira's approval is important to him, even if he doesn't need it.]

Seto is the kind of person who does not express his feelings readily, and he can seem a bit stern. But he has been nothing but kind, considerate, and gentle towards me, even though I must have been troublesome as a Partner.

[Akira's hands slip into his pockets as he shakes his head]

I doubt he found you troublesome at all. From our second week here, he was doing things to look out for you and make sure that you were okay.

But there were many times I could have caused trouble for him, even though I'd sworn as his Partner to protect him. When I was framed in the second week, when I put my life at risk fighting in the library, and last week...

[just... just last week's everything... his hands tighten into fists, and he looks away for a moment. if given the chance, Assassin probably would have killed him too in order to get to Akira, and he knows it.
