[some of the invisible tension in Akira's shoulders melts away when Blue Angel puts down her tablet. this may not be his home, but the hotel room is his space. the space he's meant to occupy during his tenure here. he'd rather not have anyone untrustworthy, such as the staff, in his space]

It's pretty tempting to just find the person in charge and storm their castle, honestly.

[Akira responds with a huffed laugh. he's done looking for knives for now, so he's just gonna. . . flop onto his bed, hands linked behind his head]

But we'll need to be trickier than that. The only way to figure out where to start is to do some reconnaissance first.

I think the person in charge might be that Lady who's almost never here. And this is her castle.

[She shakes her head a little and gives up on the knife hunt herself, perching on a chair nearby the bed, leaning forward so her wings won't interfere too much. Dealing with Blue Angel's outfit on a day-to-day basis sure has been something.]

... I've been looking around their network a little. The tablets. It's not very friendly, but it's better than nothing.

[Also she's going to crash her tablet a lot over the next week, but since she's only using it for checking on profiles and maps for now, she doesn't much care. Maybe she'll care more once Tetris arrives.]

Unfortunately, not very much, but I'm not exactly an expert hacker.

[Not exactly, but she is some kind of hacker, apparently.

It's almost impossible to get too deep into Link VRAINS and not pick it up, and she has more inroads than most. Maybe it's just the way her family is meant to go.]

Modifying the existing applications or probing too hard at their network just makes the tablet crash. I haven't tried it from other kinds of terminals. The functionality is... it should be possible to build new applications, but they've got it locked down pretty well.

[Sadly, Tetris can be obtained only by asking the staff. Sad day.]

If you could build a new application on the tablet, then what would you build?
