[it's Sunday night, closing out everyone's fifth week in the Resort, and all is quiet]

[. . . except for Akira, who steps through the lobby of the now nearly empty resort, hands resting loosely in his pockets]

Anyway, now that that's over, he removes her hand from his mouth and speaks again.]

So....Are you ready, Makoto?

[purrtagonist]

[. . . takes a step back, arms folded, and just watches. this is gonna be surreal]

[there's a moment of hesitation. She can't believe what she's about to agree to, but, at the very least, she can lean up and give Ichigo a quick kiss on the cheek.]

...

[and then she glances at Akira, placing a finger over her lips. 'Shhh.' In case.... he needed a reminder]

... I. Think I am.

He smiles, touching the spot she kissed - and then going over and kissing her forehead, gently.]

...Alright. Come with me.

[He holds his hand out, waiting for her to take it.]

[alright. she takes his hand.

this is going to be surreal.]

[He tries to stay confident - to be the Shinigami they expect him to be - but truth be told, he doesn't feel all that good about putting a different Soul in a body not meant for it.

He can only hope that since they're Gigai to begin with, that it doesn't damage her or Akira in some way.]

Okay. You're going to have to...get down, and - slip into it? Think of it like putting on a costume, or something. Only - It's a body.

[He leads her through every step of the way - first her arms and legs, and then her torso, slipping into Akira's motionless body. And as she's about to dive in completely, he places his hand on her head.]

Makoto Niijima has a body again.

And the Ghosts are gone from her perception.]

[when she opens her eyes and sees everything is gone, she sits up in Akira's body, and self consciously tucks a strand of his hair behind her ears. It's... not quite the same.] ... This is weird.

I don't like it.

[JUST. IMMEDIATELY SAYING THAT]

[Just. A look.]

[He's watching just to make sure that there's no after affects, though -thankfully, she seems to be alright.]

Where did his glasses go? I saw them fall in that direction... [maybe she just can forgo them. HE CAN SEE JUST FINE. but anyway, she's grabbing his glasses, once she does find them... and considers.] ... Time to pay Owain a visit. [bye guys. you gave her your body, live with it Akira]
